Contraindications

  • Severe and uncontrolled diabetic patients
  • Patients undergoing radiation therapy on the oral cavity
  • Infected extraction site with acute condition
  • Patients with severe gum disease
  • Patients with systemic diseases contraindicating placement of scaffolds
  • Heavy smokers
  • Deciduous teeth socket
  • Patients having allergic reaction to synthetic materials like PLGA
